Job Post Approvals

If you are running a job board which only allows specific types of posts, you may want to enable approvals. With this, any job (free or paid) submitted on your site will not go live until you go to your admin panel and manually publish the job.

Enabling Job Approval

Under Job Settings -> Rules you will see a checkbox labeled Require Approval.

To assist in notifications, there is also a CC Support setting available under Site Config -> Main. If this is checked, your support email address will automatically be copied on any new job posting emails that come in through your site. This will immediately notify you of any postings and allow you to quickly go review and publish job postings with a minimal amount of delay for your clients.

Approving Jobs

If you require approval for your Jobs, it will be be important to know how to process your approvals. There are a couple of ways that Jobs can be approved.

Mass Approve Jobs

  1. Navigate to the Home section of your Admin panel.
  2. Identify the Jobs you'd like to approve, and check the box next to each one. You can select the full page by clicking the box at the top of the list.
  3. Click the Bulk Actions drop down in the top left corner.
  4. Choose Publish X Jobs.

Approve Single Jobs

  1. Navigate to the Home section of your Admin panel.
  2. Identify the Job you'd like to approve, and click the Job Title to open the Job Edit screen.
  3. Review the job details to be sure it complies with your board's standard.
  4. When ready, Click Approve. You'll find this button at the top and bottom of the form.

The mass approval option can also be used to approve a single job.
